Camera monitored parking

This is a number recognition remote management system that can manage a parking lot from a remote location with surveillance cameras. You can monitor the situation in the parking lot in real time and recognize the license plate. In addition, centralized management of sales data and collection data is possible. It is managed 24 hours a day by a remote camera, so it also contributes to crime prevention in the surrounding area. I transferred to a different elementary school every year due to my father’s work taking the family from one place to another. I did not try so hard to make new friends. When I was a junior in high school, I worked part-time delivering morning and evening editions of newspapers and at a relative’s bar during the evenings. I entered a vocational college after high school, but left after four months. From the day I quit school my parents disowned me, so I started three part-time jobs and lived a lifestyle where three hours of sleep was the norm.

One day, I found an ad by a parking-lot management company seeking an accounting department worker. I applied and got the job. I knew nothing about accounting, but learned little by little and also engaged in coin-parking management and sales. Everybody can run a parking business, but there was no value added. I began to think that I would decide on the color of the company logo and even the asphalt the parking lots if I had my own company. Later, I changed jobs to a company managing multi story parking lots. When I began inspecting machines, I found it quite amusing and conducted the maintenance job 24 hours a day. By working for these two companies, I obtained knowledge in the two extreme businesses – coin parking and multi story parking.

Many coin parking owners are successful businessmen in other fields and manage coin parking lots in their spare time. But the owner (of the company I was working for) listened to my proposals even though I was young and immature. As I had been working for a while, I questioned myself why the president had a good life and salespeople’s salaries went up but maintenance workers’ salaries did not. People should be equal and the difference in the name value of universities they graduate from should not matter, but the president is the only person making money. I thought that was abnormal. It may make sense for the president to get paid well because he or she takes a certain amount of risk, but I thought I would share more profit with employees if I were a president. Two days later, I registered my own company.

I set up my own company when I had little money. There were only three employees and I had only about ¥310,000 in bank, including the capital of the company. But back then, the revision of the Road Traffic Act made the crackdown on illegally parked vehicles stricter, and thus demand for coin parking accelerated. Sales of my company grew steadily, we gained name recognition with the public and added more and more new parking lots.

Our company would like to train new talent and contribute to society. We hope to create even more useful, stable parking lots and offer better plans for existing parking lots. We are also looking closely at Southeast Asia, a region sure to become a car society, and would like to take leadership in the region by using the know-how we obtained in Japan.
